The Tooth Fairy
Emilia had her first loose tooth,
And was very excited to know,
That when it finally came out,
A magical fairy would show…
-Take great care, said her mother,
-Not to lose it or you’ll cry,
-For The Tooth Fairy likes it under,
-The pillow on which you lie!
She loosened the tooth some more.
She would claim her big pound note!
Unfortunately when it popped out,
The thing went down her throat!
Emilia cried for hours!
Her mother could not console.
Daddy, smelling of drink,
Told her to shut her whinging hole…
She finally fell asleep,
After Daddy forced in drink.
Next morning from the room,
There came a coppery stink.
The mother pulled back the cover,
And saw dead daughter’s tummy,
Had a hole in it the size of a hand,
And next to it some blood stained money.
Also at the scene was a note,
That The Tooth Fairy herself did send…
Saying, ‘No matter where your tooth is…
I’ll always find it in the end…’
